The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), working closely with the local Shawnee County Conservation District (SCCD),objective is to provide individuals and groups with on-site technical recommendations, design and stake-out of conservation practices to address natural resource problems and management. Its goal is to sustain the long term quality of the soil, water, air, plant and animal resources in balance with human needs.
