Each year the conservation district wants to acknowledge young conservationist in the pursuit of farming and/or ranching. If an operation stands out above the rest, the district likes to acknowledge the work being done to encourage others to do the same.
Award given to steward of the land who are 35 years old or younger.
Nominee is recognized for bringing conservation to their farm/operation and/or brought innovative ideas to their farm/operation with a conservation mindset.
