A project of the Shawnee County Conservation District's Non-point Source Pollution Program headed by Norm Sawyer was to mark stormdrains with a NO DUMPING message. Dumping oil, anti-freeze, pesticides and other contaminates into stormdrains is a real problem in urban areas.
