Educational Videos With Hands-on Activities
When you think about it, education is bits of information you pick up as you go along. And at the time, each item doesn't always seem to be a big deal. But some an, "aha" moment occurs and makes that information pleasing to know.
Along with these videos, take the time and look through the other information on this website. Hopefully, you will have several "Oh I get it" and "aha" moments.

Properties of Water
This lesson explores a few of the properties of water. Cohesion, adhesion, surface tension and capillary action. The lesson relates those properties of water and how it is used in a plant to transport water throughout the plant. The lesson explains how some of these properties allow a ship to float on water. Or, how water expands when frozen allowing it to float on water.
The lesson includes a handout with instructions to repeat later if a person likes, glossary, and an enlarged image of "How Grass Makes Food For Growth."
Adaptation of the H2Olympics from Project WET.
