- Prescribed burn: Burn at a time and method that controls or suppresses the undesired tree, brush, noxious or invasive plant.
- Intensive grazing: Depending on the plant, cattle, sheep, goats and other animals can add in managing (small) plants.
- Cut with a chainsaw: If plants are spotty this may be a good method.
- Chemical: Using a herbicide that is labelled for the target species.
